Shaman King

I personally like Shaman King very much. It‘s about a boy named Morty, who is always picked on. Then, a new boy shows up and that boy is a special one that can control spirits and use them to attack bad guys and whatnot. Morty is saved countless times by this boy, and he and a few others become friends and fight to save the world from being destroyed by the new boy’s evil brother, who also controls spirits. It’s a bit more of a dark anime, but it has a fair amount of light scenes in it aswell.
